Chia-Yu Hsu is an illustrator, printmaker from Taiwan, who starts her day by waking up her brain with a cup of coffee before anything creative happens.
She likes to create fun and joyful images by playing with their shapes, pattern and texture. Through the process of giving birth to fantasy creatures she enjoys building up colours layers by layers and experimenting with the result. Also, exploring traditional materials as well as printmaking to extend the variety of making images always attracts her.
